The eddy current sensor has a strictly linear measuring range and can therefore be used for all different kinds of sensing tasks, e.g. for highly precise distance measurement against steel, at high measuring speeds. This also includes double-sheet monitoring on punching tools.

The measured section is made up of eddy current sensor, oscillator and amplifier. The analog output signal from 0 to 10 V DC is proportional to the measuring distance.

All kinds of different measuring tasks in the automation industry, positioning technology, process measurement technology and other applications can be solved with this extremely flat sensor.
